With humble beginnings in 1988 and a vision for a better future for all children and families, Yellow Umbrella has depended on the donations and support from the community to meet this mission. Over the years, through some of our countries and the Space Coast's most difficult times, this vision remained reality due to hundreds and then thousands of wonderful caring people joining together to become the founders and foundation of this center by donating support, dollars, cars, household goods, volunteer time and love for one another in times of need.

It is our mission then and now to continue to "build it backward" to "pay it forward" by connecting the past with the future in thanking the thousands of people who have made Yellow Umbrella the premier agency it is today. With many locations and directors over the years, some of the information has been lost that is needed to allow us to thank "everyone" that has helped. We are going to begin here to compile names, so if you have helped and do not see your name, or you know someone who belongs here, please contact us and we would be grateful and honored to add them immediately.
